Okke & Pi

Hello, we are Okke the Bear and Pi the Space Creature, and we love going on adventures together! Okke lives in a forest on Earth and loves pancakes and poffertjes (Dutch pancakes). Pi is a female space creature who races her rocket past different planets. Pi has a magical antenna on her head that allows her to make things fly.

One day, while Pi is racing through space in her rocket, something unexpected happens. The fuel gauge of her rocket runs completely empty. She plummets quickly down and eventually crashes on Earth.

Meanwhile, Okke is enjoying his pancakes in the forest, when suddenly, he sees a flash of light. What could that be? He watches as the flash descends. Okke, curious as always, drops his pancakes, grabs his backpack, and sets off to investigate the light. It’s quite an adventure for Okke to reach the spot where the flash landed. He has to climb over a volcano, open a locked gate, crawl through a small tunnel on his belly, and build a staircase out of blocks.

Okke’s journey is filled with challenges, but he’s determined to find out what caused the mysterious light and what adventure awaits him!

Suddenly, Okke sees a large rocket standing in the grass. Next to it sits a small green creature, it’s Pi. Okke wants to shake her hand, but she doesn’t have hands—she only has a green antenna. Pi looks sad, her rocket has run out of fuel, and she has forgotten what the right fuel is. She asks Okke for help, and he is more than happy to assist.

They try everything as fuel: wood, leaves, flowers, and even sand, but nothing works. What should they do now? It’s getting late, and they also have no food left. But Okke had brought his backpack with a few extra pancakes for the road, so he decides to share them with Pi.

Pi gets startled by a bird, and oops, her pancake ends up in the rocket. To their great surprise, the rocket starts making noise again. Okke and Pi have found the fuel. Pi’s rocket runs on pancakes! Now, they set off to find the ingredients to make enough fuel for the rocket.

Once they’ve found all the ingredients and the rocket is ready to fly again, Pi asks Okke if he’d like to come along.
